FORE concerns itself with overall development of managers of the new millennium. Hence, the faculty and students are encouraged to take active participation in all events both academic and otherwise. Strong emphasis is laid on external exposure, students are encouraged to take up on-line research projects in conjunction with their specialization, over and above the curriculum.

I was from one of the earlier batches at FSM and have seen the institute evolve into a large brand. It had strict standards in education, professors and everything else which has paid off now and we are now in the Top 10 in Business World’s June 2007 edition.
Some issues that need to be addressed are a quick movement to a larger campus – since the existing one though really nice is falling short for the huge no. of courses and students.
Need for younger professors more in tune with the dynamic and ever changing corporate environment of today. It should be a mix of old and young so that one can have all perspectives.
Rest, like many of the top institutes, we can be sure of the quality standards of FORE students and there is a certain benchmark that they all live upto – I can say since i have hired from FORE for the companies that i have worked in and have also been a part of the assessment team hiring new students in the campus apart from studying in the campus in 1993-95 batch (wave 2).
