The college is situated on a vast campus in Kidaripatty near Alagarkoil, 25 KM away from Madurai. This college has good, excellent geographical location, well equipped laboratories and good, expensive infrastructural facilities. Effective teaching and intensive training are given to the students by excellent and qualified teachers.
The college campus is situated amidst the picturesque natural scenery overlooking the wonderful Alagarkoil hills in its front. The college is recognized by the All India Council For Technical Education, NewDelhi (F.No: 732-52-032(NDEG)ET/97 dated 17.6.98) and is affiliated to ANNA UNIVERSITY, CHENNAI.

The college has a library having good collection of books in different fields of Engineering & Technology, Science & Mathematics.A Number of journals and periodicals are also available in the library, for self study and enrichment of knowledge for the students and staff.
Various Associations of Science and Engineering organizes periodically special lectures by eminent scientists, technologists for the benefit of students. Our College is the first Institution in India to introduce “TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT” tied up with OCFC. Students seminar in modern fields are being organized every academic year to give exposure in the recent developments in the various fields of Engineering and Science. SACS TECH – ‘01 and Science Day are being conducted every year. We have organized seminar on Modern Trends in Safety Engineering in Collobration with Institute of Engineers ( India) & TNEB – Madurai Institute.
The college has very advanced VSAT System for Internet Connection with a capacity of 2 mbps. Students are given access to internet through a 30 system internet lab.
In today’s highly competitive world, it is absolutely the individual and his initiative and dynamism that can spell the difference between winning and losing. With this in mind, Our institution is regularly organizing PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME for the Ist year B.E., Students, to realise their full potentiality, to develop self – confidence and to prepare them to face challenges in life.
The College has a Rotract Club sponsored by the Rotary Club of Thirunagar. it involves the Students in Extra – curricular activities, cultural programmes and leadership traning programmes. It also organises Blood Donation Camp, Free Medical Camps in Villages as a service to Humanity.
The activities of Continuing Education, Training and Placement cell is carried out by the co-ordinator who is assisted by Training & Placement Officer & Continuing education officer. This will assist the students in undergoing inplant training and industrial visits. The cell conducts various courses in latest technological areas in order to shape the students career. Campus interviews are arranged and students are given placement assistance and guidance. Physical education training is given to all the students to develop good physique and healthy living. Students participate in sports and games undertaken by college and also take part in Tamil Nadu Inter Engineering Sports Meet (TIES).
The college has 14 buses for the use of students and staff members which ply from different parts of Madurai City. The college has separate hostels for boys and girls. The boys hostel is located in a spacious building in the college campus. The Girls Hostel is housed in Race Course colony and can accommodate about 50 students.
The college has a canteen which caters to the needs of students and staff of the college. The canteen functions on all working days.
