The LG Viewty KU990 might sound like it’s a digital photo frame but it’s actually LG’s latest camera phone that features an impressive 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and xenon flash.
Not only can this handset brag about its camera, but it should also be very proud of its lovely large touchscreen, which lets you view images easily. On top of this, it has the ability to upload videos directly to YouTube and to shoot video at 120 frames per second, which allows you to slow it down and watch it in slow-motion, as seen in the clip below. This feature’s ideal for shooting fast-moving sports footage.
The LG KU990 Viewty is a true powerhouse packing a mass of high-tech goodies under its hood: the impressive 3″ touchscreen display with 240 x 400 pixels resolution, the HSDPA 3.6 Mbps capability, the stereo Bluetooth and the highly intriguing 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, which is also capable of capturing video at 120 fps. Feature-packed and exquisite, the LG KU990 looks set on the fast track to success and we were more than happy to get our hands on it.

This phone is the BEST phone I have ever owned, that review by Claire is completely false, my viewty (unlocked) came with space commando and a golf game. The battery lasts long enough for me, and if its running low and i dont have anywhere to charge it, i just turn on the powersaving feature and dont play games, which means ill have enough battery life to go out with my friends for about 6 hours (messaging and calling people during) and manage to get home without the thing dying.
As for features… well lets just say that that its very hard to get bored with this phone, third party applications are easy to install (just drag the jar to your memory card, open the file through the phone and within seconds it installs itself) and there are tons of places to get free games and mobile ebooks (the screen is huge, reading is extremely comfortable on it).
As for themes, the phone only comes with 3 and you cant add new ones, the wallpaper and caller id stuff are all obviously changable, but themes arent really a big deal as most people prefer a phone that has tons of features over one that just looks pretty (the themes are pretty anyway, so whatever).
If your looking for a touchscreen multimedia giant with a 5 megapixel camera, then this is definitely the phone for you!
